I remember a time when comics appeared on Netgalley at least as a first volume, as to give us a clue as to where the story is heading and what the overall style is. With a tendency now toward presenting a first issue, this feels more like a teaser and less like a real part of something.

Based on the Lovecraftian monster Cthulhu futuristic cops are investigating a string of gruesome murders, that are all linked to Cthulhu. Based on the first 24 pages, I would say it is probably going to be a rather dark story. I would probably wait until more has been published, but will give it another try someday.
