I don't think The Da Vinci Code needs any introduction. Somehow it became one of those books people should have absolutely read. I'm not quite sure what makes this book so special. I need to admit that I read it because everyone talked about it and I wanted to know whether it really was a special book or not. I guess this is what many people did...
I don't consider The Da Vinci Code to be one of the best books I've read. The style is really American, which you can either hate or love, and my opinion is something between the two opposites. Sometimes I can appreciate it, but other times it makes me want to throw the book trough the room. In this case, I thought that it was a bit too unrealistic. The whole idea (The secret Langdon goes after) was interesting, but I have read books that came up with more surprising, better argued stories. So, over all I can't be too positive about it. I don't hate the story, and I've read all of the other books by Dan Brown except for Inferno after this one. (Most of them where better than this one, in my opinion).
