Moonlight Reader started the TBR Thursday, and I think it's a good way to a) show what new books I've got and b) confront myself with my inability to lower my TBR. In fact, since I started recording it, it has risen significantly. I get the feeling I'm doing something wrong here...

Remember when I stated I didn't want to add new books to the TBR pile this year?

Well, there's something I need to admit. I failed miserably this week. So, here are some of the lousy excuses I've come up with to help myself feel better about it.

1) The publishers returned from their Christmas breaks and approved a lot of my older requests, so it's basically not THIS weeks mistake...

2) Some publishers just presented their new Netgalley books and there were a few books I just didn't want to miss out on...

3) I need to study all day (damn you bloody exams) and searching for/finding books is such a good way to come to rest afterwards (I'll worry later about when to read them).

Flawless argumentation! (But I really hope there will be less books next week or I'll never be able to read them all)

Reading has been great though. I've already finished 6 books this year and I think another one will follow tonight.

TBR pile currently stands at 275. (+12)

(Netgalley ARCs at 109 (+9))
