Grave Mercy - Robin LaFevers Dark Triumph - Robin LaFevers The Fall of the House of Usher and Other Stories - Edgar Allan Poe

Moonlight Reader started the TBR Thursday, and I think it's a good way to a) show what new books I've got and b) confront myself with my inability to lower my TBR. In fact, since I started recording it, it has risen significantly. I get the feeling I'm doing something wrong here...

This week, fortunately, reading has been better, so I finally could finish some books again. It started really good with not buying/obtaining new books, but the last few days I have once again added some books to the TBR. I'm still a bit behind on mu ARCs but I keep hoping I will be able to resolve that quickly.

TBR pile currently stands at 181. (-1)

(Netgalley ARCs at 63 (-2))

Grave Mercy and Dark Triumph are ARCs I received thanks to emails from Netgalley (I never quite seem to resist those, if the books sound interesting)...

The Fall of the House of Usher: And Other Stories I came across yesterday in the bookstore. I wasn't actually looking for a particular book or for any book, but I couldn't resist this one. It's a Vintige classic, and I own more from that series. I've never read any thing written by Poe (I know, shame on me) but earlier this year I read The Illustrated Man, and one of the stories in it is called Usher II and it references - of course- to The Fall of the House of Usher. So, I'm really looking forward to this book, but I think it will be a project for the long term, every now and then reading some stories...

What's your new book haul?
